I’m having trouble finding something to say about this, honestly. It’s not very interestingly written, the recorded version has some minor pitch issues but may be the best take possible given how increasingly awful the live version (linked above) gets, the lyrics do the “let’s brush off how I’m actually a bad boyfriend BECAUSE I’M SAD AND LONELY” thing again (not Kenzie this time), it brings back the ambiguously-written “I pray for you”. Everything that can be said about this, I feel like I’ve already said on other songs. And if this song is basically an amalgamation of several other previously-released non-single tracks, could it be any more filler than it is?

Actually, one comment. Kyuhyun sounds weird here in the first verse. Deeper and chestier. I’d chalk that up to “he was new, this is a long time ago, his voice changed over time, etc etc.” But so does Ryeowook at the start (tagged on some sites as Sungmin, but it doesn’t especially sound like him, and it’s Ryeowook live). And then Kyuhyun sounds like someone else entirely in the 2nd verse. And the whole recording sounds bottom-heavy. And in the live version, which is from about four months later, their voices all sound normal, including Kyuhyun. And it makes me wonder, and there is no rational reason I can think of why they would do this, but is the studio recording either pitched down, or SLOWED down, after the fact? Super Junior would not have an easier time singing in a higher key than this, but I think slowing it down (vs pitch-shifting) would leave more audible artifacting. Ugh, I don’t know. This just sounds weird and boring and unpleasant.

(Also, why is this called “Endless Moment” when the much more obvious title is “My Shining Moment”?)
